Our mission

Pilates, redefined

To redefine strength as something grounded, sustainable, and shared — creating a space where movement supports both the body and the person within it.

The Importance of Good Posture

GOOD POSTURE PILATES

is, unsurprisingly, all about maintaining good posture!

In today's world, where many people spend 80% of their lives on their phones or at desk jobs, it’s essential to recognize how these habits can detract from our overall quality of life. Gaining control over our posture is crucial for enhancing our well-being.

Our primary motivation for establishing Good Posture Pilates stems from the desire to cultivate a welcoming and inclusive space. We aim to extend a warm invitation to individuals of all ages, sizes, ethnicities, and backgrounds, providing them with the knowledge and tools to understand what it truly means to stand tall and confidently in their own bodies. We want to empower them to reconnect with and embrace the inherent strength and grace within themselves.

Ultimately, our mission is to share the transformative power of good posture, and in doing so, we feel that we are offering our own heartfelt tribute to Joseph Pilates, the visionary behind this remarkable practice.

Being able to give the gift of good knowledge to achieve good posture, is our little personal love letter to Joseph Pilates himself.

Meet the founder

Movement has always been part of my life — from years in dance to working within the modeling and fitness industry in Los Angeles, where I collaborated with wellness brands and briefly explored personal training. Over time, I came to understand that true strength extends far beyond aesthetics or performance. It runs deeper than the surface.

After becoming a mother and navigating postpartum blues and a season of isolation, Pilates became my anchor. It helped me rebuild my relationship with my body in a way that felt grounded, sustainable, and empowering. Just as importantly, it gave me something I didn’t realize I was missing — community.

Over the past three years of teaching Pilates to individuals from all walks of life, I’ve witnessed how powerful shared movement can be. No matter our differences in background, appearance, or experience, strength has a way of bringing people together. Watching clients grow stronger — physically and confidently — day by day has only deepened my love for this method and the work I do.

Good Posture was created from that journey — a space where movement feels intentional, supportive, and free from pressure. A place to grow stronger, both physically and personally.
